All our bottle and jars are made from recycled materials.

At Mahoney’s Finishes, we are always looking for more eco-friendly packaging options. It’s not easy—many products marketed as “eco-friendly” don’t live up to the claim. Aluminum is one of the best packaging choices because it is highly recyclable, but unfortunately, it would add too much cost to our products.

Instead, we’ve chosen to use post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic bottles and jars. PCR plastic is made by collecting and recycling used plastic, then reprocessing it into a resin that can be used to create new packaging. This allows us to reduce waste and give existing materials a second life.
